Description of “Karna”

Karna is one of the most fascinating heroes of Ancient India. As the son of Surya, he is in the company of Sugreeva, Yama and Vaiwaswatha Manu. If Krishna was raised among cowherds, Karna was raised among charioteers.
He was generous without limit. This is an interpretive story that explores his early life as Radheya, the son of Radha and Adhiratha, a Suta of the Anga lineage.

About the author

Is’A vAsya upaniSad (Isa Upanishad)
Is’A vAsya upaniSad (Isa Upanishad)
Mantras, Translation, Discussion

by Satya Sarada Kandula

Description of  Is’A vAsya upaniSad (Isa Upanishad)

The Isa Upanishad is the last part of the Sukla Yajur Veda, given to us by Yajnavalkya, received by him from Surya Deva. It is said that Surya was in the form of an Asva (or horse), when he delivered this wisdom. The sun and the horse are always seen in the Ancient Indian Philosophical context as associated with illumination and learning.

Jagdguru Sri Krishna summarised the essence of all the Upanishads in the Bhagavad Gita. Lokasankara, Sri Adi Sankaracharya has written a commentary on the Upanishads. It is in the light of Sankara’s commentary and Krishna’s Bhagavad Gita that we attempt to understand the Isa Upanishad.

This book presents the Isa Upanishad in mantra, meaning, discussion form, with a conclusion that summarises the entire upanishad in the light of my understanding.

This book is a useful guide to spiritual aspirant or to a student of Indian Philosophy or to someone who just wants to know what the Isa Upanishad says.

Description of “The Bhagavad Gita (Complete)”

The Bhagavad Gita is a sacred book of the Hindu People which summarises 18 major philosophies of the Dwapara Yuga. It is in the form of a conversation between Sri Krishna and Arjuna. The backdrop is the Mahabharata War that is just about to begin. Sri Krishna explains the different philosophies which contain the essence of the Upanishads, in each of the chapters and then highlights his own philosophy, the Karma Yoga and why he holds that as the highest philosophy and Course of Action. This book has been the guiding light to Hindus through out the KaliYuga.

This book explains the complete Bhagavad Gita. It is my original work.
